Working Responsibility

As of my last blog posted, ya, ya, me in security line, my kaki is thinking that my job is damn simple, sit around but remember don't shit around, and that will cause you another set of problem, staffs turn around very very fast and high demand in this trade.

Sitting around are not really what you peoples think so, as a responsibility person even if it's in the day shift or night shift, you still got to preformance the duty assigned to you. You see huh, peoples tence to think that security is damn easy and switch off "kang", that's what the concept is all about in the society.

Me now are labelled " Seow On" by my group in the night shift, reason very simple, I stick to the assignment given and order them to performance and be alert, at times they just doze off, even to the extend I walk and stand right in front of them, still they ZZZzzz then I'll purposely step on dry leave or make some sound to wake them, cause they just in their dreamland.

Now you must be thinking, hell Lao Hero no wonder these 2 weeks blogging or comment la all in the wee wee hours, ya lor, me in night shift and sleep sweet in the day lor. Remember, night shift easily feel hungry, must be in control of the consumtion and heavy eye lip, sleepy lor. So I'll start to walk around and do some patrolling and check on area, that's what I'b doing the last 2-3 weeks, and that's the reason I always caught peoples sleeping like a baby. Then you think my "seow on" how to come about.

Me sometimes will go around checking on car park and issued warning ticket for those without label la, sensor transponder la, issued visitor list la and temporary parking cards displayed on the dashboard or windscreen, next morning owner will appeared infront on me or my day shift supervisor, "hello, what is this for", now where is this heading to, instruction passed down from the management, zoom.... divert the issues there, wash hand.

Well, this are part of the job and there are many more to learn and in case of emergency how to handle and implyment the experience into usage, difference assignment had a difference set of handling and requirement to follow. Ya, no doubt high demand and yet so little manpower in this trade cause why "THE PAY TOO LOW" yet working on holiday, and 12 hours shift, now is my job easy?

To be a security officer, you still need to attend class and assessment before you can collect you security pass, that as well your background will be scan by CID and security warrent issue to us. There is even security diploma and degree for securitymanagement course. During duty, every detail of assignment will be reported in the control book, that is the proof of deployment of every security officer.

Security job is not what peoples use to said in the early day, called "jiagar", can any one remember how do a jiagar work like, try recalling and I know it and I leave the imagination to your own discreetion. And don't be too fancy like in the movie, Sam Hui, Ricky Hui and Samual Hui that type also, it won't happen in this small dot, in security there is various operation post and that is under the SPF regulation and requirement. Anyway in these modern security world, technologies and standard had improved, requirement and knowledge had also increased and improved.

But there is also black sheep and si bei jia luc one also, beyond imagination type, I don't know why they are employed, but the new regulation is the SPF officer will conduct regular check on assignement at location, if got caught not complying to the requirement, dimerit point will be given and it something like driving standard procedure, more serious is like drink driving kena "guntong" lor.

Well, coming 6 am, most of them be waking up, so I stop liao lah, hee hee, ng keng ng keng lok tim, hee hee 2 more hours and I'm off duty.
